How to keep fruit and vegtables from not turning brown and fresh

Meal prepping makes life so much easier. One of my daily snacks are fresh veggies sticks. However, no one likes a brown apple, or pear slice, in there snack pack. So I found a new way to meal prep my fruit, and vegetable snack packs to keep them fresh. This way you can save money, and keep your whole family healthy on the go. Plus it’s easy and quick. 

 Any fruit or vegtable that oxidized after being cut and exposed to air, I soak for 1 minute in 2 tbsp raw honey and 3 cups water. This works great for keeping your food looking fresh, until you eat it. It also cuts back on the acid taste, as if you had used lemon water. My apples, and pear slices taste like honey, instead of lemon. 

Last but most importantly, before sealing up my fruit,  and vegetable snack packs, I fold a paper towel and place it inside. The paper towel absorbs all moisture, and locks in freshness. I meal prep my snack packs on sunday, making one for everyday of the  week. The whole family gets their own too. They last fresh all week long plus a day. So next time you want any fruit, vegtable or herb to stay fresh and crisp, you can make it happen, just by doing this. 

Can You Put Neosporin In Your Eye?

For the past few months, I have been to several doctors. I was concerned about the discomfort around my left eye, which was accompanied by headaches, sinus congestion, and post nasal drip. After taking plenty of antihistamines, antibiotics, steroids, sinus, and cold medicines, I was still in discomfort.  It constantly felt like my eye was congested, and the consistent post nasal drip gave me a chronic cough.  I decided to search the web for a home remedy solution, for what I was able to self diagnose as a sinus infection. 

During my search I found a solution of Neosporin Ointment  (NOT THE CREAM OR PAIN RELIEF NEOSPORIN IT MUST BE THE REGULAR OINTMENT ). 

Apparently it works for eye and ear infections. Most people message boards said to follow the instructions and don’t put it in your eye. However, many reviews said it worked for eye, sinus, and ear infections. I outweighed my options and decided to try it. I looked online to see how to apply it. Most people suggested using a q-tip, so that’s what I did. 

You put the Neosporin on the q-tip. Pull down your eye lid, and roll it under your eyelid. 

Then close your eyes and lay down. I applied it in my eyes before bed, because once in your eye you need it to melt and coat your eye.It’s hard to see with it in your eye.  In the mornings and at night I applied it my nose, and ears as well. I could feel the difference the first time I used it. It does not burn at all. MAKE SURE YOU USE THE OINTMENT NO CREAM OR PAIN RELIEF OINTMENT NEOSPORIN OR IT WILL BURN. 

My post nasal drip is finally stopping. I still use a nasal saline rinse 3 times a day as well and I’m almost cured. I tried Zyrtec, Claratin, Benadryl, and Flonase but none worked. The last doctor of 3 I went to suggested I try Allegra, and I’m finally getting full relief. But NEOSPORIN OINTMENT SAVED MY LIFE. I’M ALMOST GOOD AS NEW AFTER ALMOST A YEAR OF POST NASAL DRIP, AND SINUS INFECTION. I said if it worked I would right a blog about it. I would suggest this for kids and adults as a home remedy. I give it 5 stars. 

Mango Iced Tea Off The Tree

So you have a tree in your yard? It’s bearing so much fruit what should you do? My fruit bearing tree is mango.

I decided to make mango iced tea today.  I took 3 mangoes, pealed them and liquefied them in the blender. Then I strained the pulp from the juice, and put the mango juice back in the blender.

I seeped my favorite iced tea bag  in 4 cups of boiling water. I added 1/2 lemon, and 1 cup of sugar, and seeped tea to the mango juice. Then I filled the blender with ice. I liquefied the mix, and placed it in the freezer to chill. The end result was mouth-watering mango iced tea. I will try this with other fruit as well.

I’m so enamored by how the vibrations of love make me feel.
The concept of happiness has become my hedonist high.

Auto Suggestion and Self discipline

A new year usually begins with the start of a person setting new year resolutions to achive. Some people quit smoking, drinking, cursing, or loose weight. These resolutions people create become very hard to maintain without proper auto suggestion, and self discipline. Auto suggestion is the hypnotic, or subconcious acceptance of an idea, through repetitious actions using the five senses. Auto suggestion is what creates peoples perceptions.  Without healthy auto suggestion achieving healthy self discipline is impossible.  A persons senses in there conscious mind, either make it through their brain to their subconscious area to be stored, or they are rejected. Once you make your new year ressolutions you have to do a little work to reprogram your brain to achieve them. The seeds you plant in your senses will grow depending on how your mind sows them. Below is a list of houe to achieve self discipline, from healthy auto suggestion, for success.

1.  No negativity Only Positivity!
2.  Dont you give up! Dont quit!
3. Remove all temptations, out of site out of mind.
4. Eat regular healthy snacks, and meals daily.
5. Dont wait for it to feel right, it will feel wrong, awkward, and uncomfortable, only until you fully reprogram yourself.
6.  Schedule breaks, treats, and rewards for yourself for doing a good job.
7.  If things dont go as planned, forgive yourself, move forward,
and finish what you aim to accomplish.

How To Build Self Confidence

Self confidence is earned by each individual for themselves. In order to increase your confidence you must work for it. However, once you acquire true self confidence, no one can ever take it away. Here is a list of ways you can boost your self confidence.

1. Make a goal list
– include your strengths, and weaknesses and how you can improve them
-set your goals for present, and future 5, and 10, year goals.
2. Consistently improve your personal care
-think positively, you are who you think you are
-people will think you are what you show them
-shower, bathe, brush, and comb hair and teeth multiple times daily,
-wash clothes, and press them, wrinkle free
-try new styles of clothing, dress neatly
– clean your living space(room,apartment,house)
-eat healthy
-drink 64ounces(8cups) of water at least daily( the human body and brain is 70% water)
-manage your time wisely, use memos, and alarms if necessary
– manage your sleep so your equip with rest for active days
-exercise regularly inside or outside
3. Control your body language
– speak up, and pronounce your words
-watch your facial expressions
-keep good posture
-stand tall, head up, shoulders back
-kill them with a smile, starting with your eyes, and show your teeth
-don’t cross your arms it’s uninviting
-keep eye contact when talking, or listening
4. Consistently improve your conversation
-show gratitude, and appreciation
-compliment others
-listen actively, only speak when asking questions, and eye contact
-focus on whose speaking
– keep up with current events daily to make your conversations interesting
-read books, magazines, newspapers, to help build your vocabulary consistently
5. Take risks
– try new things
– go and dive in on your healthy impulses
-don’t plan things all the time, let things happen and watch the magic

Foods that burn belly fat for six pack abs

Are you in the process of trying to get those six pack abs you’ve always wanted? The famous quote says, “you are what you eat”. Omega-3, and monounsaturated fats, are healthy fats.
